Kokako Camp Brochure





LI: To learn about what you can do at Kokako lodge.

Over the last week everyone challenged themselves during the sessions at archery, high ropes, kayaking, raft building, camp cooking, pancake race and team building/orienteering. Our group collaborated to create a brochure that shows others why Kokako Lodge is a great place to go on camp.

I found this activity fun because we stated down all the things we did or saw at Kokako lodge. You get to know people better and have fun with them. Its an amazing place and everything you do there is always fun.

    Hi Tyson I really like your Brochure itś very interesting to read and well set out.
    If I had not been to Kokako Lodge I would have read your Brochure and Kokako Lodge looks like somewhere cool to stay. Your brochure helped me when I had to make my own.

 LI:To use smart searching skills to find out about pulleys.   We have been learning about simple machines. There are 6 different types of simple machines. This week we learnt about pulleys. Our DLO shows our labelled diagrams of a pulley system. A labelled diagram is an information picture. Pulleys are A pulley is a wheel, with a grooved rim for carrying a line. You pull one end to raise a weight at the other end.

Maths

  LI: To define the terms and understand the properties of 2D shapes.     Our challenge today was to find the definitions of a 2D shape then draw the shape. I chose to use the shapes tool because it gave us more of a challenge rather than just drawing it. I found this really interesting and fun because I got to learn new words relating to Geometry, and 2D shapes while being able to collaborate with my friends.
